This sword and harness were made specially for Jon who portrays Lawrence Washington.
As we do not take part in battle re-enactment we can have real weapons. This does not mean we cannot demonstrate them as our dummies Diago and Manuel have testified.
The only blunt weapons we are sourcing at the moment are period practice rapier and dagger sets taken from those in the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Again this is not so that we can stunt-fight, such period practice weapons were all part of the tool-set available to such as Lawrence.
