At Sulgrave Karl & Eleanor spent a week running demonstartions on bookbinding in the 16th century. Despite Eleanor being a beginner, she still produced four complete books, even though one was Rhomboid !.
The equipment being used is essentially the same as the modern bookbinders, infact some of the easily available equipment has not changed at all.
