The Shakespeare's Birthplace Trust have recently redecorated Shakespeare's Birthplace in a period style. This picture shows the kitchen, with plaster walls painted in the style of panelling.
The Group were asked to provide focus for festive celebrations and we spent a weekend making garlands and decorating the entire building both inside and out.
Of course we also provided suitable festive foods; A 12th night cake; mince pies and ham can be seen on the table. A pigs head and brawn were also produced to "interest" visitors.
