The St.Fagans cock-pit is a useful building - essentially a pre-built demonstration area where we can talk to a captive audience. This May it was doubly useful for the shade it provided against the intense sun.
The Group used the cock-pit to demonstrate aspect of the Elizabethan Military; here Ashley is demonstrating wards with the broadsword and buckler.
As we do not get involved in any mock combat, all of the weapons we have a reproduced faithfully and therefore sharp.
