Timed talks at thos event include demonstations of the Art of Defence in the surviving cockpit - this gives us a good stage on which to show some of the guards or wards - obviously not enough space to do anything more dramatic.

Here one of the teenagers in The Group demonstrates the high ward using the broadsword, not he has a buckler or small shield in his left hand - a typical combination for an Englishman of the 1580s.
