We take quite a large amount of demonstration items to all our events.
At the Mary Rose it is of course often windy and wet - particularly our December event. So we have to provide some cover for the more delicate items - such as the cook and his assistants !.
This construction also helps the public to more easily imagine the setting by distracting their eye from the modern surroundings.Photographer: Mark Goodman
