Coppicing and Fencing
A long stretch of completed fence

It took just over 15 man days days work to coppice and build around 180 yards of fencing, repair another 20 yards and cut and shape three double sized gate posts.
As well as this work we had to provide food for ourselves; present talks and finally glean the field and remove all the large stones as a precursor to ploughing.Photographer: Johnnie Rutter
