This picture shows the extent of the house. While not massive, it is certainly big enough to provide the public with an accurate impression of an alehouse.
The Group has a large amount of furniture, furnishings and domestic equipment, of which around 40% was brought to this event - it was more than enough to fill it with all the items that were found in inventories for similar buildings.Photographer: Susanne Atkin
