The 1600s House

A Still life of the cupboard

Sulgrave Manor (2003)

The cupboard in The great Hall is where we leave the communial cup; bowl; ewer and cups (hence the name).

The Group posseses a large number of significant pieces of pottery, silver, pewter and glasswear to enable us to present the table of any middle classes.

To do an Elizabethan upper class table requires a much larger investment, probably two to three times the £6,000 already spent.
