Crafts and Trades

The Group are lucky to have a very vibrant craft base within its membership. All the craftspeople help others in The Group to learn the skills and we have winter workshops to further enhance this learning process.

We portray skills such as (but not exclusively): tailoring; dyeing; tanning, bookbinding, animal husbandry, land husbandry, blacksmith, white-smith, fletcher, weaver, embroiderer, painter, dairy, glover, basket weaver, tallow chandler, shoemaker, potter, launderess, gardener, musician, spinner, baker, cook, grinder and puppeteer.
