The Tudor Group welcomes new members of all ages and all backgrounds. We do however find it best to limit the number of people joining at any one time. We like to offer a good deal of help and support to new members so prefer to be able to focus on a few at a time in order to be as generous with our time, help and advice as it is needed.

Joining the Tudor Group is a big commitment, but we hope that it also brings big rewards.

Everyone has to start somewhere and we are all very happy and willing to give assistance to new members with clothes, information, equipment and so on. We have several group workshops every year where members come together to work on group projects, learn new skills and help each other. We actively encourage all members to be engaged with ongoing research in areas of their own interest and between us we have a wealth of books and other materials to help.

As a member you will be part of a team. In the Tudor Group we work together with everyone mucking in; loading and unloading vans, cooking and washing up, maintaining equipment and so on.
